Anahata chakra is more commonly known as the heart chakra. The literal Sanskrit translation for anahata is unhurt, unstuck, unbeaten. This chakra is perfectly sitting in the middle of the subtle body, balancing the world of matter (three "lower" chakras) with the world of spirit (three "upper" chakras).
Its colour is green and also pink.
A great way to open, balance and energize anahata is to immerse oneself in nature. To breathe in and out with the wind, air (prana) being the element of the heart chakra.
To sit quietly and to unite with the universal loving power of the Earth is one of the most profound, yet so simple, healing experience.
