Mama bee comes home covered in pollen...

Here she comes, covered with pollen and ready to make a food ball she will place next to her egg, so that as soon as it hatches, it gets enough food to grow into its imago form. It will then fly away to its life and come back next spring to lay its eggs in the same gallery or the one beneath or the one above...

Did she mistake her hatching gallery with another's or did someone else got into hers ? Seems a bit busy in there...

She is going in, possibly getting the intruder out... (I saw it happened many times before, quite impressive, it then develops into a full fight in flight... kung fu bee)

Not quite... She sits at the entrance of the gallery, waiting for me to get my camera, so that finally I can shoot her in all her golden pollen glory. She didn't move for ages, as if she enjoyed the shooting. I guess she must be used to me by now, coming close, observing, commenting, mumbling and else...

Nobody said it was going to be easy…

Musée Dali - Figueras.

But does it have to be so harsh?
Sometimes it is so easy to lose faith
Sometimes it is so easy so surrender to doubt and fear
Life is a succession of steps and tests and confrontations
Sanity is not always easy to retain
Nothing is ever that simple
Nothing is ever that difficult
It is just a matter of point of view
It is only a matter of perception
Somehow there is light into darkness
There is hope in desperation
Whatever it might take we must keep up
The real challenge is not to feel good when everything is sweet & lovely
But to remain calm in chaotic times.
It is easy to believe in summertime when the sun is blazing,
It is harder when the rain is pouring down from heaven.
It has always been accessible for some to indulge in wicked pleasures
While others trespass anonymously.
O Lord! How long will it take?
Before Love shines once again over Insanity?
Before Peace reigns once again over Savagery?
Before Harmony wins once again over Egoism?
Before we finally surrender to redemption?
Before we seek for salvation?

Rencontre
